Bear Lake road

Along the side of the road from Bear Lake to the summit of Logan Canyon,
the blue flax are brilliant.

The Highway Department planted them to hold the roadside in place.

The flowers are native to Utah and a striking addition to this stretch of road,
but doesn't continue into the canyon.
A visitors center has been added to the Bear Lake overlook near the summit.

These Flax are wonderful. I want to plant some in my backyard. I have tried to make a post, but was unsuccessful. What am I doing wrong?
