Crookston Family History book

Several weeks ago while visiting Lynn he showed me the Crookston Family History book.  It has been available for almost two years but this is the first I hve heard of it.  I immediately wanted a copy and contacted Richard.  He is selling them through Lulu Enterprises.  You may order one of the books from Lulu on line by going to:  http://www.lulu.com/product/hardcover/crookston-family-history/16217859 The price for the book is $21.53 and shipping by the U.S. mail is just under $5.00.  Check out his website at  http://www.rcrookston.com  .
Richard begins his book with the following preface:
       "T
his project was inspired by the writings of Robert Crookston. His life history has created a great appreciation for the sacrifice of my ancestors for their beliefs and desires. I have wanted all their posterity to learn of the great heritage that we all share.
"This history starts at my grandparents Jesse LeRoy Crookston and Phyllis Mae Garr. It follows through
their ancestors. I tried to include any life sketches that I could find through family files and internet searches. have also created a web page that contains much of this information, www.rcrookston.com.    I will try to keep this page updated.
          "I
would like to thank Karen Marcus for obtaining many of the photos and life histories. I would also like to thank my Aunts and Uncles for their help. And many thanks to Rebecca for her proofreading and support. Thanks to Michael for his typing of Nick Crookston's journal.
